Mary A. Kelley
Mary Alice Baker "Peg" Kelley, 81, a resident of Conway Drive, Elkins, departed this life early Wednesday morning, June 27, 2007, in Elkins Regional Convalescent Center.
She was born Saturday, July 13, 1925, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Walter H. Baker and Mayple Faith Godwin Baker. On Nov. 17, 1966, she was married to Walter F. "Pete" Kelley, who survives.
Also surviving are one stepson, Richard F. Kelley and wife, Kim, of Longmont, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Anna Louise Tunnecliffe and husband, Kirk, of East Pointe, Mich., and Betty Lou Ocilka of Parma, Ohio; one brother, Robert H. "Bob" Baker and wife, Joan, of Elkins, one sister-in-law, Pat Baker of Elkins; seven grandchildren, Kirkland, Shannon, Jason, Brandon, Logan, Devin and Kristen; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are one brother, Charles H. Baker; and one sister, Elizabeth M. Isobaker.
Peg was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1944, had worked at Wallace's Bakery for 21 years and at Montgomery Wards at Warren, Mich., for 11 years. She was a member of Elkins Lioness Club and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home chapel Saturday, June 30, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Doctor Marvin L. Parli will officiate and interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
