Charles E. Blazer, 88, of Forsyth died Feb. 7 in Decatur and Macon County Hospital. He was a retired farmer and lumber yard foreman at the Forsyth Lumber Co., having lived in Forsyth for 58 years.
Mr. Blazer was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, March 7, 1874, son of Warner and Martha Ann Martin Blazer. He married Jennie Muller on Sept. 28, 1898, in Decatur. She died Jan. 4, 1946.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Forrest M. (Dorothy) Alexander of Forsyth; one son, John T. of Decatur; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Monson Funeral Home with Rev. James McClarey officiating. Burial was in Boiling Springs Cemetery.
