Ernest/Earnest Edgar ECKROTH was married to Gloria Rush KENNEY, who later married Charles Julian BUCKLEY.

Ernest Edgar Eckroth, a former resident of Huntingdon, died at his home on Washburn Avenue, Washington, N.J., on Saturday morning, March 24, 1954. Death can be very unexpectedly following a heart attack. He was age 43 years. ernest E. Eckroth, a native of Tyrone, was a son of William Eckroth, deceased, and Mrs. Bessie Eckroth of 1109 Moore Street. Huntingdon. He attended Huntingdon High School and after leaving Huntingdon in 1930 he attended the Bangor High School, from which he graduated. He was active in sports circles.
Mr. Eckroth was a member of the Methodist Church and the Elks and Moose Lodges of Washington, N.J. At the time of his death he was foundry foreman at the Taylor-Wharton Iron and Steel Company plat in High Bridgs, H.J..
Besides his wife he is survived by two children, Doris Anna and Arthur William, both at home. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Bessie Eckroth of Huntindon, and five sisters, Mrs. Matthew Kenyon and Mrs. Oscar M. Chilcote, both of Huntingdon; Mrs. Carl Smith of Bangor, Pa.; Mrs. Willard Himes and Mrs John Hernbaker, both of Beaumont Cal.
His mother and two sisters in Huntingdon were in atendance at the services which were held at Washington, N.J., on Tuesday afternoon.
