Ellen Stilts
Mrs. Ellen Stilts aged 45 years, wife of Jacob Stilts, died of consumption at her home in this city, Saturday, November 5th, 1892. The funeral services were held I the Christian Church by Rev. Barnes of Beloit. Her remains were laid to rest in the Randall Cemetery. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss. The family have sympathy of this whole community.
Jacob Stilts and family desire to publicly thank their friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during the sickness and since the death of their beloved wife and mother.

In 1840 there is a James, John and Ashley Hickey living in Cass. I don't know where the Menard came from. She was married in Menard though. I found the marriage records.

Ellen's middle name is perhaps spelled Letitia rather than Letita.
