Howard Busby, 59, died Friday, June 29, 1979 at the Wagoner Community Hospital. Services were held, Monday July 2, in the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel with Michael McKnight officiating. Burial was in Boudinot Cemetery, Tahlequah.
Born October 1, 1919 in Harrison, Arkansas, he was a resident of Broken Arrow until he moved to a home on Fort Gibson Lake 10 years ago.
He was a maintenance superintendent of Ajax Die Casting Company, Broken Arrow the past 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie, of the home; three sons, Howard of Wagoner, Harold of Tahlequah and Leonard of Leonard, Oklahoma; seven daughters; Mrs. Wanda Holiday, Broken Arrow; Mrs. Cindy Taylor and Mrs. Julie McKnight, both of Tulsa; Mrs. Sharon Beede, Boynton, Mrs. Jane Blackburn, Bixby, Mrs. Debra Owens, Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, Mrs. Charolette Sillman, Wagoner; a brother, Mitchell of Tahlequah; a sister, Mrs. Annie Allison, Claremore and 11 grandchildren.
