Burial record in the sexton's ledger book shows: Mr. H. V. MEIGS was born in Russell County, Alabama [sic], died aged 80 years in Russell County, Alabama, of paralysis, and was buried 31 AUG 1897 in Section 2, Lot 736.

(28 Philadelphia, PA) cotton manufacturer holding real estate valued at $6,500; Henrietta H. (27 Warren County, GA); Henrietta H. (4 Muscogee County, GA); Theophilus S. (3 Muscogee Co, GA); and Henry V. (1 Muscogee Co, GA).
