Mr. Ledgerwood was born November 21, 1936 in Oilton, Oklahoma, to H. H. and Edna Merle Ledgerwood. He received his early education at the Harmony Elementary School. He was a graduate of the Cushing High School Class of 1956.
He met and married Marilyn Creager on December 21, 1956 in Cushing. They made their home in Cushing where they have since resided. He owned and operated the Ledgerwood auto paint and body shop in Cushing for over 20 years. He attended the First Assembly of God Church. He departed this life on August 10, 1991 at the Drumright Hospital.
Survivors include, wife, Marilyn, of the home in Cushing; 3 sons, Frank E. Jr., Dan R., and Chris, all of Cushing; daughter, Stephanie Hatfield of Cushing; mother, Edna Merle Ledgerwood of Cushing; 2 brothers, Bill and Elmer, both of Cushing; 2 sisters, Vera Chandler of Cushing and Wanda Combs of Wichita, Kansas; 7 grand children, Greg, Renae, Heather, Brian, and Franklin Ledgerwood; and by Clinton and Celestin Hatfield. Mr. Ledgerwood was preceded in death by his father, H. H. Ledgerwood on July 26, 1991.
