Daisy was the first child of five children born to Robert N. Allen and Leona Belle Turner.

She was the granddaughter of Samuel Turner and Rebecca Byers.

Grand Daughter of Drewry Allen, Great Grand Daughter of Clement Allen, 2nd great Granddaughter of Drewry Allen the
Revolution Soldier.

Mrs. Daisy Turner buried Dec. 21

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Allen Turner, 87, widow of Luther Turner were held at 10 a.m.Tuesday,Decembeer 21, at the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with burial in Sallis Cemetery.The Reverend George Pitts officated at the rites.

Mrs. Turner died Sunday at Montford Jones Hospital in Kosciusko after an illness of eighteen days.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Grady Allen and Mrs. Lorraine Allen, both of Sallis; two brothers, Fred Allen and Grover Allen, also of Sallis, nine grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Burton Allen, Floyd Allen, Ross Allen, Douglas Wigley, Glenn Boatman and Wayne Bishop.
