"CRUZE, LELA AMYX - age 100, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Sterling House Assisted Living in Maryville. She was born on January 27, 1907 in Bean Station, TN and lived in Knoxville. She was a long time member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Cruze; daughter, Peggy Ann; sisters, Merle Moore, Della Morgan, and Eva Henson; brothers, Bayrd Amyx, and James Amyx. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 13th at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside services with Rev. Marshall Duncan officiating. Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home is serving the family."
