Annie Lorene Addy
Funeral services for 91 year old Chunky resident, Mrs. Annie Lorene Addy, were held Monday, November 22, at 2:30 p.m. in the Chunky Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Guess and Rev. Wayne Campbell officiating. Interment took place in the Chunky Community Cemetery.
The former homemaker died at Laird Hospital November 20, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert "Bob" Addy. Her survivors include a son, James "Bobby" Addy and wife, Sybil of Chunky; grandchildren Kenneth Addy of Chunky, Linda Felton and husband, Steve, of Chunky, J. R. Addy and wife, Michelle of Hickory; and four great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Chunky Baptist Church and a member of the Homemaker Club.
Pallbearers were Richard Harris, James H. Addy, Sam Brown, Randy Addy, Kenneth Addy and Kenneth Chaney.

James Randle Addy
Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Addy of Chunky are welcoming a baby son, James Randle, born Nov. 22, 1965, at the Newton Hospital, weight 9 pounds, 5 ounces. His mother is remembered as Syble Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buddie Harris of Hickory. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Addy of Chunky are the paternal grandparents. Kenny and Linda Addy are pleased to have a baby brother.
