Peter Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Adams, was taken seriously ill the latter part of last week, and passed away last Monday evening at his home in Fox Lake, Illinois.
Mr. Adams had been in our city a few weeks previous to the time of his death visiting with his parents and other relatives and friends. His sudden death was a very shocking message to his parents and others as he seemed comparatively in good health when here.
At one time he resided on a farm a short distance south of Johnsburg, and also conducted a blacksmith shop at that point.
The remains were brought to Adams yesterday morning at 5:47 for burial. The funeral took place at 3:00 p. m., the same day from the home of his parents on North Fourth street, interment in the Sacred Heart church cemetery.
