Born between 1629 & 1631 in Plain Dealing MA to John & Alice (Phillips) Shaw. Married Phebe Watson 22 Jan 1656/57 in Plymouth MA. Died in Lakenham (now North Carver) MA. Their child: Hannah (Shaw) Paine.

Married (2) Persis [Dunham] Pratt, widow of Benajah Pratt and daughter of John Dunham Sr & Abigail Barlow, in Aug 1683 at Plymouth, Plymouth County, MA. To this union was born, at least, one child, Abigail.

To this union was born, at least, one child, Abigail.JOHN, eldest son of John & Alice Shaw, was born by about 1622 (bought land 1643 [PCR 12:91])& came to Plymouth Colony as a child. He apparently still living on 26 March 1658 [MD 10:34-35], but presumed to be dead on 30 January 1663[/4] when his brother James received the double portion due to the eldest son [MD 10:35].

Believe the first son named John died at an early age. John Shaw mentioned in Plymouth records I believe to be Jonathan Shaw. This would also explain James getting eldest son double share
