Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Emil F. Schewew, 54, a farmer of near Waterloo, who died suddenly last Wednesday morning, June 12 of a heart ailment.
He was the husband of Mrs. Luella Schewe, nee Bicklein.
The funeral took place from the Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo with services at 2 p.m. in St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church, Waterloo, the Rev. Otto Bessler officiating, and burial was in Kolmer Memorial Park.
Mr. Schewe was born near Waterloo Oct. 25, 1902, a son of William and Pauline Schewe, nee Huch. He is servived by his wife; a daughter, Miss Gloria Ann Schewe; three sons, Robert E., Roy W., and Roger R., Schewe; his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Lydia) Stoner, and Mrs. Albert (Hilda) Lich; and four brothers, Erwin, William Jr., Earl, and Raymond Schewe.
