Elizabeth was the daughter of Christian HUFFORD III and Mary Magdalena RENNER. She was the oldest sister of Catharine, Hannah, Dorcas, Mary, Sarah, Noah, Agnes, Casper, Nicodemus David, and Christ.

Elizabeth first married Mr. Joseph HENRICKS (b. 1803, VA; d. Fairfield Co., Ohio). No children were born to the marriage.

Elizabeth second married Mr. Joseph KERN. With Mr. Kern, she had eight children: Mary, John, Adam, Catharine, Ellen, Ephraim, Agnes, and Elizabeth.

From page 201 of the 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY:
Our subject, who was born in Washington County, Pa., came with her parents to Fairfield County, Ohio, in 1813. Was married to Joseph HENRICKS. He lived only a few years and died leaving no family. Was married to Joseph Kern, uncle of John W. Kern, of Indianapolis, Ind., 1836 North Pennsylvania Street. They lived one mile south of Bremen, Ohio, where they owned a farm and reared their family.

Interment in family cemetery of her parents.
