Daughter of Frederick R. and Emeline E. (MC PHERSON) VanDerCook. Sister of Emma McPherson VanDerCook (MC CONNELL)and Frederick E. VanDerCook. Wife of Emmett S. Croxton. Mother of Frederick Hiram Croxton and Allie Marie Croxton. Eula was also a niece of Brigadier General James Birdseye McPherson, a favorite of General Grant, who was killed during the Battle of Atlanta.
