William A. Blue, 71, life long resident of this county, died at his home, five miles east of here on the Salem Pike, this morning at 4:20 o'clock following an illness of a few days.
He is survived by the widow; two sons, Isaiah of California, and Harry of Washington township; one brother, Jesse Blue of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Felix Blackman, also of Marion.
Funeral services are to be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Antioch Methodist Protestant church. Burial will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.
Mr. Blue was well known in Grant county. He was one of the earliest settlers here.
