VAN BUREN--Clarence E. Losure, 86, Van Buren, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday at a Marion nursing home following several years of illness.

Mr. Losure was a native of Van Buren and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Van Buren.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; a son, Kenneth, Van Buren; two stepsons, Kenneth Thompson, Van Buren, and James Thompson, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Eva) Luckey and Mrs. Homer (Anna Margaret) Gephart, both of Van Buren; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Melvin (Hazel) Hall and Mrs. Joe (Martha) Scott, both of Van Buren; 13 grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Central Christian Church in Van Buren. The Rev. John Farr and the Rev. Keith Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Van Buren Cemetery.

Friends may call at Ferguson Funeral Home, Van Buren, after 7:30 p.m. today and after 1 p.m. Thursday.
