Raburne Allen Babb of San Jose died Friday, January 16, 2009 following an extended illness. Raburne was born Feb 9, 1924 to Mazella and Arlie Babb of Eldorado, Oklahoma. Raburne and Kathleen Holmes were married April 14, 1945 in Eldorado, OK. He was employed 54 years by Caterpillar, retiring in 1989. Preceding him in his death were his parents, brothers Gerald, Wallace and Herman Ray Babb. He is survived by his wife Kathleen of San Jose, son Clay Allen Babb of Japan, Clay's wife Shoko and new grandson Ray M. Babb also of Japan, one brother Carroll and his wife Carolyn, sister in law Irene and her husband John Burner. Graveside services were held Wednesday, January 21 at Belmon Memorial Park, Fresno, California.
