Daughter of Thomas & Catherine (Gammon) Jones, Jr.
Simeon M. Fox, in an extensive 1842 essay, traced the move of Isaac & Mary (Jones) Fox about 1715 from New London to land Isaac had bought in a part of Colchester -- an area that _later_ became part of the town of Salem, _Connecticut_. Thus Mary died, "about 1730", in Colchester, which was within Hartford County. (If changing the location name to show its modern counterpart, the correct designation would be Salem, New London County, Connecticut.)
