Edward E. Malm, age 86, of Vulcan, Michigan, went to be with the Lord March 23, 2006 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers, MI.

Edward Malm was born on March 27, 1919 in Norway the son of the late Henry and Agnes (Beckstrom) Malm.

Ed married June Root. June Malm preceded him in death in February of 1992.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Ed is a member of First Baptist Church in Norway and Hall-DeWinter Post #145, American Legion.

Ed Malm was survived by his daughters Jean Tauriainen-Malm and Deborah (Mike) Mikolajczyk of Vulcan and Adris Davis of Florence, WI; son Howard (Marge) Malm of Portland, OR; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Margery (Tony) Manduca of Norway; special nephew Michael and Joan Manduca of Minnesota.
