After "Nettie's" death, her parents, Thomas Galloway and Annie Judson Wallace Whigham, moved to Texas where his brother, James Barnett Whigham, then lived. When Thomas and Annie died a memorial was added including all the children's names. It is from the information on this memorial that we know the date of Nettie's death. It states that Nettie S. died Aug. 10, 1886,age 9 years, 9 mos. and 4 days old. Other places list her name as Sallie Barnett.
