Nancy Louise Chester, 72, entered into Heaven on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at Trillium Specialty Hospital in Mesa, after a long struggle with her illness. Nancy passed surrounded by her entire family. Nancy was born in Sweetwater, TX., April 9, 1936 to William Riley (Dub) Warren and Rachel Adair. She moved to Arizona as a young girl and was raised on the Willow Springs and PZ Ranches. She lived in Silver City, NM where she met Pat Chester, her soon to be husband, while still in high school. They were married on Sept. 13, 1953 in Silver City. They moved to California for a short period, back to Silver City before settling in the Winkelman area in January of 1958. They moved down the road to Dudleyville in 1963 where they raised their family.

Being a ranch raised girl, Nancy loved the outdoors, especially fishing with her number 1 partner Pat. She also enjoyed working in her garden, preparing meals for her entire family on holidays where all would gather. Bowling, traveling, and crochetting were also some of her favorite past time loves.

Nancy leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Pat, son Warren Chester (Cheryl) of Dudleyville, daughter Wanda Sieloff (Paul Hale) of Globe, daughter Eva Gibbs (Dale) of Pima, son Mark Chester of Dudleyville, and daughter Tammy Clark (Jerry Rocha) of Globe, mother Rachel Warren and sister Charlotte Vandiver, both of Truth or Consequences, NM, 14 grandchildren, 20 Great-grandchildren with 2 on the way.

She was preceded in death by her father, W.R. Warren, sister, Wanda Warren, and brother, Kenneth (Butch) Warren.

Visitation was held Monday, Feb. 16, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel where the service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Globe Cemetery, Hackney Ave. in Globe immediately following the service.
