Agnes J. "Aggie" Bruckman, 91, Owosso, died Sept. 13, 2014, at The Brook of Roscommon surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held Sept. 22 at the Nelson-House Funeral Home, 120 E. Mason St., Owosso, from 2 to 8 p.m. with a rosary prayer at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Owosso, with Fr. Michael O'Brien officiating.

Born April 25, 1923, in Owosso, she was the daughter of Fred and Nellie (Buckley) Butcher. She attended school at New Haven Center and graduated from Chesaning High School with the Class of 1941. After graduation she worked at General Motors doing office work.

On April 19, 1947, she married William V. Bruckman in Owosso. After marriage she became a homemaker and raised eight children with her husband. She was actively involved with St. Paul's Catholic Church, Owosso and she was a member of the Guild, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and Higgins Lake Property Owners Association. She loved spending time with her family and friends at her cottage at Higgins Lake. She also stayed current in whatever was happening in the lives of her children, grandchildren and friends. She looked forward to spending summers with her family at her cottage, where she eventually settled. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 45 years, William on Jan. 25, 1991; parents; brothers, Orville Butcher of New Lothrop, Leo Butcher, James Butcher and Bernard (Guz) Butcher all of Owosso; sisters, Nora Sevcech of Chesaning, Rosemary Cramton of St. Charles, Phyllis Gallagher of San Marino, CA; grandson, Ziven Dabrowski of Naples, FL and son-in-law, Steve Oppy of Roscommon.

Surviving are her children, Michael (Becky) Bruckman of Indian River, David (Denise) Bruckman and William (Sue) Bruckman both of Owosso, Sharon Bruckman, Kate Bruckman and Debra Ritter all of Naples, FL, Susie Bruckman of Marion, NC and Mary Jo Oppy of Higgins Lake; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Mc- Namara and brother, Lawrence (Ruth) Butcher both of Owosso.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mercy Home Care/Hospice of Grayling.
