OREGON CITY-- Nobel Warren Charles, a pioneer of Oregon City, died at his home at 409 South Center Street, Oregon City, Tuesday following a sudden apparent heart attack.
Mr. Charles was born on January 16, 1882 in Oregon City and had lived here all his life. He was a retired railroad employee. He had lived at his present address for the last 12 years.
Survivors incliude his widow, Elizabeth; one brother and one sister, Royal Earl Charles, Oregon City and Beatrice Lehmann, Gladstone.
Rev. Bertrand Peterson will officiate at the 10 A.M. services Friday at Holman-Hankins-Rilance funeral home. Vault internment will follow at the Mt. View cemetery.
