Eliza Jane Pulsipher was the daughter of Zera & Mary Ann Brown Pulsipher, early Mormon converts and pioneers. She married Thomas Sirls Terry 6 Mar 1855 in Salt Lake City, Utah, becoming his second (plural) wife. Thomas was already married to Eliza's sister Mary Ann Pulsipher.
Eliza Jane & Thomas were the parents of thirteen children: Zera Pulsipher, Thomas Nelson, Eliza Jane, Aluna, Sarah Mariah, twins Charles Henry & John William, Olive Amelia, Josephine R., Franklin Durmath, Tracy Roselee, Joseph Alma & Eva Elthera Terry.
Eliza Jane came to Panaca after the death of her daughter Sarah Mariah Pulsiper Wadsworth to care for her two small children. Eliza Jane was a trained midwife and cared for many people. Her husband Thomas is buried in Enterprize Cemetery, Enterprize, Utah.
