John E. Woodsmall
MOUNT PLEASANT — John Edward Woodsmall, 56, was stricken with a fatal heart attack while working in his barn and yard Jan. 17. He had lived on a farm about three miles west of Burlington for the past 23 years.
Woodsmall was born near New London on Nov. 18, 1898. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Woodsmall, and the following ten children: Donald L. and Robert and Mrs. Marcille Frank, all of Burlington; Artie Woodsmall, San Diego, Calif.; John Edward Woodsmall Jr., USMC, stationed in Korea; Cecil LeRoy Woodsmall, USN, and Jack, Willis and Walter Woodsmall, all at home.
A brother, four sisters and 11 grandchildren also survive. Two children died previously.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. A. L. Shuey, pastor of the Church of God, at the Crane funeral home at 10 a. m. Thursday. Burial will be in Richwoods cemetery.
