MRS. C. L. THOMAS
Mrs. Amanda Thomas, 56, wife of C. L. Thomas, died yesterday at her home, 803 Rosebud
avenue.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jack D. Thomas of Waycross, Troy
Thomas of Tampa, Fla., and Roy Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla., and one daughter, Mrs. T. B.
Gammage of Waycross, six brothers, J. J. and Randall Beverly of Moultrie, Walter, Carey
and Farley Beverly of Manor, and C. L. Beverly of Waycross, and three sisters, Mrs. Ed
Pittman, Mrs. Charles Pittman and Mrs. Leon Henderson of Manor.
Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Church of God, on Rosebd
avenue conducted by the Rev. D. M. Cobb, with burial at Waresboro cemetery.
Mincy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
