Attended Clarksburg Grammar School and Drury High School and retired after being a self-employed carpenter in Adams, East Freetown, Plymouth and Cape Cod, Mass. From 1973-1976, he was also executive director of the Adams Housing Authority.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving 1940-1943, and a member of Adams American Legion Post #160.

He was first married to Rosanna Margaret Delage who had a daughter, and together, they had two sons. On Aug. 2, 1969, he married Laurette Bonsant.

Brother of Clinton, Isabella & Leon Kegresse; half-brother of John Stalker and Sheila, Ruth, Penelope, Paula, Mary Jane, Cynthia & Christina Kegresse; grandfather of Dawna, Tammy, Carole, Pamela, Melissa, Richard, Todd and Stacey, in addition to five great grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren. It gave him great joy to spend time with them.

Died at 72y 5m 24d from complications of diabetes. Funeral services were held Sept. 11, followed by burial in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, Mass.
