Spence Community was saddened by the death of Mr. E. L. Cone. He passed away Friday afternoon at the Howard Hospital. His body lay in state at is home Saturday and his funeral was held at 3 o'clock at Macedonia Baptist church with Elder Josh Davis of Moultrie officiating, interment was in the Macedonia Cemetery. A host of friends and relatives attended the funeral.
