Services were held Wednesday morning at the Megrue funeral home in Superior and at Bethel Lutheran church (sic) west of Abdal for Carl Thomsen, about 40, who died last Saturday. He had been in failing health for many months.
A well-known farmer in the Bostwick community, he lived most of his life in this county. His wife, the former Lorene Barfknecht, and three children survive.
Burial was made in the Superior cemetery (sic).
