Mrs. Martha Ruth Kephart, 88, formerly of Riddlesburg, died March 19, 1973, at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Harry Abbott of Akron, OH.

She was born in Fulton County April 1, 1884, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Figart, and married Dean S. Kephart June 6, 1906. Mr. Kephart died June 4, 1954.

Mrs. Kephart was a member of the First Church of Christ, Altoona. Surviving are two children, Mrs. Kathryn Waite of Akron, OH, and Mrs. Ruth Berkheimer of Canan Station; ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are being held at the J. C. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg, by the Rev. John Gregory. Burial will be in Carson Valley Cemetery.
