A graveside service for Martha Ann Allen Henderson, 96, born 19 Apr 1903, of Monroe was at 10 a.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jack Pickren officiating.

She died Wednesday, 19 Sep 1999, at Park Place Nursing Facility in Monroe.

Memorial contributions may be made to Norwich Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Bennie F. Henderson of Birmingham, AL; James A. Henderson of Pensacola, FL, and Jackie C. Henderson of Marietta; a daughter, Louise Davis of Decatur; three sisters, Callie McNabb of Tampa and Lois Davis of Hortense; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A native of Hortense, she was a member of Norwich Baptist Church. She was a seamstress with Altman's Dress Shop in Brunswick for many years. She resided at Brunswick from 1928 to 1982.

Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of Captain Crumm "Cap" Allen and Macie Ann Knight Allen. Her late husband was Bennie Cleveland Henderson.

She taught a ladies' Sunday School class at Norwich Baptist Church for many years and was ever faithful to her Lord.
