Wife of John Hammock. They were married July 18, 1911 in Morgan County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Robert Monroe Alexander and Darthula Cathron LeFever Alexander.

Obituary - The Albany-Decatur Daily - October 5, 1925

Mrs. J. H. Hammock of 1006 East Moulton street died Sunday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock at the Benevolent Hospital, her death coming as a great shock to her many friends in this community where she was widely beloved.

Funeral services will be held at the home of J. A. Weaver 618 east Moulton street, the hour not having been fixed. Interment will be made at Basham's chapel, Priest in charge.

Mrs. Hammond is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Alexander; one brother R. F. Alexander.
