Rosary for Amalia Figueroa, 83, who died Wednesday at Pinal County Nursing Home, will be at 8 p.m. today at the Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Father Joseph Gorsuch will officiate. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Casa Grande.
Born August 28, 1898 in Mexico, Mrs. Figueroa, a housewife and member of St. Helen's Catholic Church, lived more than 40 years in Arizona.
She is survived by two sons, Henry, of Casa Grande and Roy, of Eloy; two daughters, Emma Alavarez and Ampy Lile, both of Eloy; one sister, Manuela Vega, of Marana; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
