Harriet Viola Farriester of Gravette, AR, was born March 11, 1924, in Lambert, OK, and departed this earth at the age of 84 on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Grover Farriester; twin sons, Lloyd and Floyd Farriester; two brothers, Wesley and Ala Fox; two sisters, Leota Herron and Francis Brunes; and two grandsons, Ryan Scott Moline and Charles Lee Weeks Jr.

She is survived by two sisters, Eva Mae Stout of Cherokee, OK, and Opal Mudd of Clifty, AR; her children, James and Mary Farriester of Gravette, Troy and Barbara Farriester of Rogers, Carrl and Ruthie Farriester of Centerton, John and Marlene Farriester of Centerton, Lavieta and Kevin Dooley of Gravette, Leno and Willianette Farriester of Bentonville, and Twyla and Scott Moline of Clovis, CA; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; plus numerous nieces and nephews and extended Christian family.

After a full and blessed life, she has now gone home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Church of God Holiness in Gravette. Burial will follow in the Rambo Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 20, from 5-7 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers, AR.
