Frank Roe 72 a retired engineer who lived in Modesto 15 years, died yesterday in a local hospital following a long illness. A native of Iowa, he moved to California in 1939. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 3.
Survivors are his widow , Carrie L Rose: two daughters. Rachel Callison of Niles and Hazel Janes of Concord: four sons, Clarence L Roe of Dublin, Jimmy D Roe of Torrence, Ronald J. Roe and Harvey Roe, both of Modesto: a brother Pier Roe of Texas: 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Services well be held at 11:00 am Saturday in Franklin & Downs Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Acacia Memorial Park.
