21 Dec 1968: Mrs. Eva M, Neiswender, 85, 118 W. Main St., Newmanstown died this morning in her home after a lingering illness. She was a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Loose Kercher. Her husband was the late Charles J. Neiswender who died in 1959. She worshipped in the United Christian faith. She is survived by five children: Dorothy M., wife of William F. Ulrich, Richland; Geraldine A., wife of Erwin W. Derr, Myerstown; Arlene E., wife of Mark L. Moyer, with whom she resided; Linwood C. Neiswender, Richland, and the Rev. John Neiswender Jr. Lenhartsville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Luther Moose, Lebanon; two brothers, Adam Kercher, Bluefield, W. Va., and Albert Kercher, Philadelphia; and a number of nieces and nephews. [Lebanon Daily News]
