Mrs. Rutland, one of the oldest residents of Williston, was a member of the Rosemary Baptist church.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside in the Old Field cemetery at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. M. B. Webb of Barnwell, assisted by the Rev. Manley Hutto.
Mrs. Rutland is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Hiers Cook of Barnwell, R.F.D.: one stepson, W. R. Rutland of Williston; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Maggie Beck of Augusta, Ga.: three brothers, Leighton Hair of Blackville, Earnest Hair of Bluffton and P. M. Hair of Williston; two sisters, Mrs. L. E. Birt and Mrs. John Grubbs of Laurinburg, N. C.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body will be at the home of the daughter until the hour Of the funeral.
