Robert Brooks
Robert Allen "Buzzard" Brooks, 45, of Spotsylvania County died Monday, April 23, 2007, at his home.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Ferne Croxton, Annette Massey, Jerri Simpkins, Diane Gallahan, Bryant Brooks Jr., Randall Brooks, Shirley Brooks, Patricia Hopkins, Larry Brooks, David Brooks, Johnny Brooks and Bonnie Judy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents were the late Bryant and Hilda Brooks. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Avery Brooks; and a loving uncle, Earl Brooks, with whom he resided most of his life.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at Gold Mine Baptist Church, 2039 Goldmine Road, Louisa, Va. 23093.
Memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o Found & Sons Funeral Chapels, Fredericksburg.
