Marrying John Baptist Herr in Harlingen, Neb. on August 25, 1885, moving to Muenster in 1890 with three children. She mothered 16 children. Among them were a set of twins and a set of triplets (one of the triplets died at birth). The boys worked on the farm doing the farming while the girls did most of the household chores.
