D. Franklin Whiteman, 78, died at his home on 12th street yesterday after living here 50 years. He was born in Iowa, October 25, 1870.
Survivors include his wife, Lulu: one son, Ed Whiteman with the army engineers in Kodiak, Alaska: one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Kroner of Lebanon, Ore.: one brother, Milo Whiteman of Cambridg, Neb.: two sisters also of Nebraska.
Final rites will be held tomorrow, November 17, at 10:30 a.m. in the Holman Hankins Funeral home with Rev. Roy W. Achor officiating. Intermet will follow in the Mt. View cemetery.
