Warner J. Ritter of Stroud, Oklahoma, was born on June 25, 1923, in Shamrock, Oklahoma, and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on September 13, 2004 at the age of 81 years.

Warner was the son of Tom and Hazel McQuerry Ritter. Warner had lived in the Stroud area all of his life, was a retired oilfield pumper, and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. He served in the United State Army, and was a member of the VFW, and American Legion of Stroud, Oklahoma. Warner married Robbie Stubblefield in Chandler, Oklahoma on December 29, 1945. He was preceded in death by his wife in April of 2001. His parents, 1 daughter, 1 sister, 1 brother, 1 granddaughter, Andrea, 1 grandson, Stephen, and 1 great grandson, Ricky also preceded him in death.Survivors include, Two Sons-Martin Randell Ritter of The Colony, TX.Warner J. Ritter, Jr. of Bowie, TX.Five Daughters, Betty Caroll of Mount Pleasant, TX. Robbie Hoppes of Stroud, OK. Ramona Olson of McCloud, OK.Judy Haubert of Burleson, TX.
