LEONARD - Claudie Lee Combs Jeanes, 99-year-old Leonard resident, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 at the Leonard Manor in Leonard.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Leonard with the Rev. Denny Gorena officiating. Burial will follow at Chillicothe Cemetery in Chillicothe.
Surviving are her son, Naith Hilton (Sonny) Jeanes of Leonard; daughters, Jeannette Lehman of Garland and Dorothy Williams of Plano; sister, Vyneta Clarene Smith of Leonard; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 17 great-greatgrandchildren.
Family visitation will be at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Leonard from 4 -6 p.m. Sunday.
