Glen Orville Doud, 91, of La Grande, died Oct. 6, 2005, at a local care center.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Summerville Cemetery.
Mr. Doud was born on Oct. 6, 1914, the son of Ira and Elpha (Downing) Doud in Farry, Oklahoma. He served with the United States Army during World War II.
On March 11, 1944, he married Wanda G. Hays in Pendleton. They lived in Milton-Freewater from 1948 until 1955 when they moved to Elgin. He worked in lumber mills until his retirement and enjoyed hunting. They moved to La Grande in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Doud of La Grande; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Linda Doud of North Powder; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Brothers Archie, Charles and Amos died earlier.
Memorials may be made to the GRH Hospice in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 Seventh St., La Grande 97850.
