Funeral services for Lucy Jane Hefley, 91, were Wednesday, April 17, 1985 at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Hersman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hefley was born March 11, 1894 and died April 15, 1985. She attended Wagoner schools. A member of Immanuel Baptist Church, she was married January 24, 1915 to Harley Hefley. They owned and operated Hefley grocery store located on North Gertrude in Wagoner. She enjoyed crocheting and hand craft. Her husband Harley, preceded her in death in October 1958.

Survivors include two sons, Norman of Broken Arrow and Joe of Wagoner; two daughters, Mable Flippin and Vera Helen Geurin, both of Wagoner; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
