Sister in Danville among woman's survivors
Edith E. Meade, 91, of Lansdale, Pa., passed away at her residence Sunday, April 15, 2007.
She was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Middle Paxton Township,Dauphin County, a daughter of the late William Edward and Irene Robbins Knapp.
She was the last one to graduate from Katy's Van Dine one-room school in Madison Township in 1931; Jerseytown schools in 1933, and Millville High School in 1935. She retired from ITE Circuit Breaker. She was a member of Lansdale Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Meade; three brothers: Delmar, Edward and Lloyd Knapp; two nieces and one nephew. She is survived by two sisters: Edna Welliver, of Danville,and Dorothy Runyan of Norfolk, Va.; seven nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville.
