John Andrew McNeal, 78, prominent resident of Shubuta, died at Meridian Sanitarium Sunday at 4:22 p.m. The deceased is survived by his widow Mrs. Dora E. McNeal, five daughters, Miss Agnes McNeal, Shubuta; Mesdames Sam Mason, Hugh Garrett, Miss Clonnie McNeal, all of Meridian; Mrs. Julian J. Evans,Shubuta; six sons, L.V. McNeal, Hattiesburg; B.F.McNeal, DeSoto, Miss; T.E. McNeal, Shubuta; C.L. McNeal, Crandall, Miss; Lloyd M. and John W. McNeal, Quitman, Miss.; one half-brother, George S Harwell, Stonewall, Miss.; twelve grandchildren.
