He was married to the former Sophronia Jane Worstell, who preceded him in death in 1935.
Mr. Rex was a member of the Utopia Baptist Church, Big Cabin, Okla.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Winnie Johnson of Westminster, Calif., and Mrs. Janie Jones of Lakewood, Calif.; six sons, Seth of
Adair, Okla., Albert of Albuquerque, N.M., Everett of Pensacola, Okla., Ivan of Phoenix, Ariz., Emmett of Moro, and Jim of Yorba Linda, Calif., 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Rex is also survived by four brothers and a sister, none of whom live in the Alton area. The body is being sent from the Smith Funeral Home,
Bethalto, to the Green FuneraI Home, Pryor, Okla., for funeral services.
