Champion, 7 Feb 1862 Monroe Co., GA-1 Mar 1892 Grapeland. Wm. A. was a schoolteacher in Georgia & at Dalys & Grapeland, TX. For 23 years was in public office in Houston Co., TX-1st as Justice of the Peace and later, District Clerk. Was in the grocery business and was a land purveyor.
