Mrs. Lymon was born July 13, 1909, in Wingate and had been a resident of Richton for many years. She was a member of Cooper's Chapel United Methodist Church in Richton and a former member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Laurel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank ''Pokie Dot'' Lymon; a son, George Lymon; a daughter, Frankie Esters; and her parents, Charles William and Mary Yeldell.
Survivors include four sons, Tommy Lymon of Richton, Charles Lymon, Willie Lymon and John Lymon; four daughters, Aurellus McSwain, Minnie Pearl Williams, and Betty Jean Bolton, all of Chicago, and Rubye Jyles of Richton; 37 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchidren.
A service will be at noon Friday at Cooper's Chapel United Methodist Church in Richton where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery in Richton.
